Project 9: Parts of Me

 For this project, we are going to create collage type photos that use the outline of people and individual components to create a narrative experience. I think the example will illustrate my point:


This is an illustration of Bill Murray, the comedic actor. Each of the squares is made up of various roles that he has done as an actor. The illustrator decided to take these screen shots and identify a spot color. That color is presented throughout the image. 

This assignment will make use of LAYER MASKING, COLOR OVERLAY, BLENDING MODES, and a host of other Photoshop tools we have used in the past and will learn in the present.

To start with you, need a head shot of someone. You can choose to make this an image of yourself or someone you know. You will also need a variety of other images (assets) to make the individual frames. We will start with the background image.

Halftone

Halftone is the reprographic technique that simulates continuous-tone imagery through the use of dots, varying either in size or in spacing, thus generating a gradient-like effect. "Halftone" can also be used to refer specifically to the image that is produced by this process.
