Classroom Activity: Personal Interest Questions

Objective: Students will answer a series of personal interest questions in an Office 365 Word document and submit their responses as an assignment in Microsoft Teams. This activity aims to enhance digital communication skills and promote self-expression.

Instructions:

Open a New Word Document:

  • Log in to Office 365.
  • Open Word Online and create a new document.

Answer the Following Questions:

Type each question and your answer in the document.

Questions:

  1. If you could have any superpower for a day, what would it be and how would you use it?
  2. What fictional character do you relate to the most and why?
  3. If you could have dinner with any three people, dead or alive, who would they be and what would you talk about?
  4. Describe a dream you had that you still remember vividly.
  5. If you could live in any time period, past or future, which one would you choose and why?
  6. What’s the most unusual thing you’ve ever eaten, and did you like it?
  7. If you could instantly learn any skill, what would it be and what would you do with it?
  8. What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received and how has it influenced you?
  9. If your life were a movie, what would be the title and what genre would it be?
  10. Describe an invention you think would make the world a better place.

Format Your Document

  • Ensure your document is well-organized and easy to read.
  • Use headings, bullet points, or numbering where appropriate.

Save Your Document:

  • Name the document “Personal Interest Questionnaire – [Your Name]”.

Submit Your Assignment in Teams:

  • Open Microsoft Teams and navigate to our class team.
  • Go to the “Assignments” tab.
  • Find the assignment titled “Personal Interest Questions.”
  • Attach your Word document and click “Turn in” to submit.
