Advanced Photography: Final Portfolio Project
Objective:
Students will curate, refine, and present a cohesive portfolio of their best photographic work from the year. The goal is to showcase their growth, technical skills, and creative voice through a professional-quality presentation.
1. Portfolio Curation (10–15 images)

Select your strongest photographs taken during the year.

Images should demonstrate a range of techniques (lighting, composition, editing) and/or a focused thematic or stylistic approach.

Include a mix of genres if applicable (portrait, landscape, documentary, experimental, etc.).
2. Artist Statement (1 page)

Write a thoughtful reflection (approx. 300–500 words) that addresses:

Your creative vision and influences.

Technical and conceptual growth throughout the year.

The unifying theme, style, or intent behind your portfolio.

3. Image Captions (Optional but Encouraged)

For each photo, include a title and brief caption (1–2 sentences).

Captions may describe subject matter, technique, or personal context.
4. Presentation Format (choose one):

Digital Slideshow (e.g., Google Slides, Keynote, PowerPoint)

Website/Online Portfolio (e.g., Adobe Portfolio, Wix, Squarespace)

Printed Portfolio (binder or book format) — must be neat and high-quality.
