Project 15: Final Portfolio

 Advanced Photography: Final Portfolio Project

Objective:
Students will curate, refine, and present a cohesive portfolio of their best photographic work from the year. The goal is to showcase their growth, technical skills, and creative voice through a professional-quality presentation.

 1. Portfolio Curation (10–15 images)

  • Select your strongest photographs taken during the year.

  • Images should demonstrate a range of techniques (lighting, composition, editing) and/or a focused thematic or stylistic approach.

  • Include a mix of genres if applicable (portrait, landscape, documentary, experimental, etc.).

2. Artist Statement (1 page)

  • Write a thoughtful reflection (approx. 300–500 words) that addresses:

    • Your creative vision and influences.

    • Technical and conceptual growth throughout the year.

    • The unifying theme, style, or intent behind your portfolio.

3. Image Captions (Optional but Encouraged)

  • For each photo, include a title and brief caption (1–2 sentences).

  • Captions may describe subject matter, technique, or personal context.

4. Presentation Format (choose one):

  • Digital Slideshow (e.g., Google Slides, Keynote, PowerPoint)

  • Website/Online Portfolio (e.g., Adobe Portfolio, Wix, Squarespace)

  • Printed Portfolio (binder or book format) — must be neat and high-quality.
